Throughout Arkansas, the speed of the Moon’s shadow will accelerate from about 1700 miles per hour to about 1850 miles per hour. Nothing can prepare you for the amazing sight when the sky suddenly darkens and the Sun’s corona shines in the sky. No photograph can capture the stunning beauty of a total solar eclipse, you must see it for yourself. In this remote sanctuary, away from the hustle and bustle of civilization, the stars offer a serene and humbling spectacle. It's a glimpse into the infinite, a reminder of the grandeur of the cosmos, and a moment to reflect on our place in the vastness of space.
Picnic Baskets: Pre-order a picnic basket tailored to your preferences with locally sourced meats and cheeses, plus delicious breads from our good friends at New Morning Bakery We take pride in curating a selection of locally sourced meats, breads, and cheeses that not only showcase the skill of our artisans but also reflect the flavors of the Ozark region. Our commitment to locally sourced meats, breads, and cheeses is more than a culinary choice; it's a celebration of community, sustainability, and the vibrant flavors that flourish in our own backyard. Stargazing Opportunities: Astronomy enthusiasts can explore the starlit night sky with a telescope or just take it all in with the naked eye. Discover the beauty of celestial bodies beyond the eclipse. In the heart of a Ozarks and untouched expanse, far from the glow of city lights, lies the middle of nowhere—a haven for celestial beauty. As the sun dips below the horizon and the canvas of the night sky unfolds, a breathtaking tapestry of stars emerges, illuminating the darkness with a brilliance that seems almost surreal.
